Optika Wins OneSteel Customer Service Excellence Award

OneSteel recently hosted its annual Whyalla Excellence Awards ceremony.  The event serves to recognise and acknowledge excellence in customer service, business improvement, safety and environment. The event saw 147 nominations in total, with 32 of these across the newly created customer service category.  Amidst such a large number of quality entries, from multi-national service groups including Brambles, Thiess, Partners in Performance and GWA, Optika Solutions took out the honours and accepted the inaugural Contractor Customer Service Excellence Award.

Optika Solutions has been providing services to OneSteel for 5 years, across many disciplines including systems, processes and simulation.  The award recognised the magnitude of improved business performance around rail operations, with Optika successfully improving export capacity by way of rail configuration optimisation and displacing a previously planned significant capital spend.
