Integrated Performance Management
Many leading producers routinely ask themselves: How well do our business processes align to the needs of our customers? How well do we understand and execute our operational strategies. What visibility do we have into our core operations? An Integrated Performance Management (IPM) system provides the framework that enables an organisation to assess how well it performs against these critical dimensions. IPM pulls together the people, process and system threads of any Operational Readiness program and ensures operational sustainability over the operating life of the project.
By designing and implementing such an IPM ahead of the transition to operations, management will have increased visibility and hence control during the commissioning and ramp-up phases. Being able to determine how effective a strategy is, both in terms of adoption and execution, provides management with vital feedback to make any tactical course corrections as required.
Ultimately, by designing with the end state in mind, an IPM provides the structure that enables management to reach and exceed operational targets, thereby maximising productivity and reducing production variability.
